About the palace
Rozalia & Rozalin
In 1857, Aleksandra Teofila Lubomirska-Rzewuska built a summer residence amid picturesque ponds, vast meadows, and a historic park—now known as Pałac Rozalin. Aleksandra was the daughter of Princess Rozalia Lubomirska (née Chodkiewicz), who was executed during the French Revolution for her alleged ties to Marie Antoinette’s court. To honor her mother’s memory, Aleksandra took on the name Rozalia and named this enchanting estate Rozalin.
Once a sprawling 50-hectare estate, Pałac Rozalin was designed by Henryk Marconi, one of the most distinguished neoclassical architects of his time.
